Lately, a lot of people have been asking, “Should I buy a home now or wait?”
I say that you should buy now. Why?
Interest rates are starting to increase. Back in December, rates were right around 4%; now, rates are starting to creep up to 4.5%.
As a homebuyer, every 0.5% increase in interest rates decreases your purchasing power by about $25,000. As you can see, it is definitely more advantageous to buy now rather than later.
